Because I do not hold alumite facilities in us, I ask alumite subcontractor.

Alumite color example

AA6-A

It is called B2 and SW6. It becomes the alumite more than general 6μm. It becomes prevention of corrosion, the prevention of wound.

AA6-A silver etching 15 minutes

I can make wounds less noticeable by damaging the surface by etching in 15 minutes.

SM-0

I conceal the dice line by performing mat processing. There is less metal loss than etching.
 

AA10-A silver

It is also called B1 and becomes the alumite more than 10μm. It becomes prevention of corrosion, the prevention of wound.

B1ED (luster existence silver)

It becomes that I gave the clear painting of the luster existence after having attached a film. A luster degree of more than 90%. It becomes the A2 evaluation in new JIS.
 

B1EDM (mat silver)

It becomes that I gave the mat electrodeposition painting after having attached a film. It becomes the high weatherproof paint and becomes the A1 evaluation in new JIS.

C-500

After having attached a film, it becomes colored luster existence snow white with the colored thing which I electrodeposit it and painted. I am used for an LED use or a truck.

C-501

After having attached a film, it becomes the luster existence cream with the colored thing which I electrodeposit it and painted. I am used for an LED use or house interior.

C-502

After having attached a film, it becomes colored luster existence ivory with the colored thing which I electrodeposit it and painted. I am used for a shutter or indirect lighting.

M-6

This place is the same, and it is high weatherability paint with the thing which made the mat electrodeposition painting on black alumite of the electrolysis coloration.

G-600

It becomes the gray colored electrodeposition painting. This color is film silver, but can provide various colors by changing the film from a convertible collar to black.

The change of the color appears by giving the gray colored electrodeposition painting after having added a convertible collar to a film. All G series becomes the high weatherproof paint and become the A1 evaluation in new JIS.

The alumite processing is an aluminum original surface treatment method. Alumite knowledge

1. Why is surface treatment necessary for aluminum?

 As the surface of aluminum is protected with a natural oxide film, it is said that corrosion resistance is generally good. However, I cannot endure every environmental condition as the natural film is very thin. In addition, aluminum shows a chemical reaction with activity generally in the environment of moisture and acid, the alkali with a natural oxide film existing. Therefore, it is necessary to attach a film protecting the surface depending on a purpose when I process the surface. In other words, as for aluminum, the corrosion resistance is insufficient as the natural oxide film, too, and there is no surface hardness enough, too. Therefore surface treatment for man-made film generation is necessary to satisfy these. It becomes (alumite processing) that it anodically oxidizes.
 

2. With anodically oxidizing it

 Of aluminum generally is said to be the alumite processing, and this method is anodically oxidizing it in an oxide film being produced by an anode and the electrochemic method that did with aluminum artificially.
 The reaction of the following contents is caused when I electrolyze aluminum in electrolytes sulfate as an anode.

2Al3+ + 3O2- → Al2O3 ※Al2O3 = alumite

3. Difference between anodizing and plating

 In a meaning to coat metal, plating may seem to be anodically oxidizing it in the same way, but is a different surface treatment method basically.
 As a film of the different kind metal is only piled up on the cover processing materials, as for the plating, only the amount thickens than original metal. On the other hand, that a film progresses inside as dissolve aluminum in the case of anodically oxidizing it, and dissolved aluminum changes into oxide called Al2O3, and it is possible for an oxide film; is different.

4. With anodically oxidizing it

 Because there is innumerable microporosity to an alumite film, I handle a seal hole to secure enough corrosion resistance.​
Seal hole disposal of alumite films is processing to do the alumite film surface in a state inert chemically by letting the innumerable hole (pore) inside in the film produces hydration oxide called "boehmite", and they precipitate it.
Seal hole processing includes the method using metal salts such as acetic acid nickel or the cobalt acetate and a method using boiling water, the pressurization steam.

5. The field of use, use of the alumite

 Aluminum oxide is hard and is superior in the durability, but it dissolves for strong acid and the strong alkali and may corrode. In addition, it becomes easy to corrode it when it is exposed to seawater and soy sauce (electrolytes such as the salt) even if it is stable oxide because aluminum is metal having high ionization tendency or when it touches metal such as iron or copper in a dampness state.
Home products using alumite include a lunch box, a kettle, a pan. I am used for interior equipment, motor parts, the optical component of building materials, an optical component, a train and the plane made of aluminum, semiconductor parts, a lighting apparatus, medical equipment, various nameplates or smoothly planed boards widely.
Alumite processing includes a kind and can regulate the performance of the film by the kind to some extent. It is important to choose the kind of surface-treating it to the demand performance of a use and the film of parts.
